Our aim is a joined up musical pathway for all.

Playing and performing with others is an essential part of being a musician.

Progression between ensembles is by ability, so that students are confident and can feel part of the group. Regular practice and commitment will ensure progression. Our ensembles are all year round and are not enrichment opportunities to 'come and go'. High expectations lead to fantastic performances in concerts.

Grade 1/2 onwards

Junior Wind Band - 3.15 - 4pm

Wind and Brass players from Year 6, approx Grade 1 standards to Grade 3 / 4.

Concert Band - 4 - 5pm

Grade 3 approx onwards

Tuesday:

Saxidentals - 3.15 - 3.45pm

Grade 3/4 onwards

Senior Strings - 4 - 4.30pm (Larch Hall)

Grade 1/2 onwards, from Year 6

Wednesday:

Chamber Choir - 3.15 - 4pm

Years 10 - 13, for singers who can read music

Rock School - Sessions from 3.15 - 6pm

Thursday:

Secondary Choir - 1.25 - 1.55pm

Open to all in Years 7 - 9

Big Band - 3.15 - 5pm
