Wow! What a month!

We have had 25% of our school community performing in concerts and gigs - it has been an incredible week of celebration.

Six performances in 5 days this week. Concert Band, Junior Wind Band, Brass, Saxidentals, Rock Bands, guitars, all our Larch choirs and ensembles, our senior choirs and singers.

The quality has once again been outstanding, and the stories of nerves, inclusion, smiles, opportunity, team work, joy, community and incredibleĀ music has been a joy to be part of.
Few schools in the country have this number of students involved performing to such a high standard. What students get from being part of this cannot easily be described.

A school is built on a community. What an amazing all-through musical community we are.

We are really proud of what our students achieve!

The Power of an All-through School

Three Year 9 students, our first year group all those years ago in the Larch. Performing to a standard and with such confidence way beyond their age.

Only at Simon Balle. I have the privilege in my role to see and work with students as they grow through our all-through school.
