There are many members of staff who deal with queries from parents and other members of the public (8 staff members in main school office as well as the Larch office for primary) but for the purposes of website compliance the named person is Mr David Ayres, Assistant Headteacher.
Paper copies of any of the information on our website can be requested free of charge. Email admin@simonballe.herts.sch.uk (please note this email address is monitored throughout the school day during term time and checked at least twice a week during school holidays)
Car Parking
We are expecting considerable disruption to our car park during the construction of our new sports hall. You can read more about this on the sports hall page.
Car parking on site is limited, and in the first instance is reserved for staff. There are a small number of visitor spaces available, as well as disabled parking spaces. Visitors are encouraged to travel by public transport, or use the Old London Road car park (11 minute walk) or one of the other car parks in the town.
Please be aware that parents will not be able to use the car park for dropping off or picking up. There are plenty of car parks in town that can be used for drop off and pick up. You can use any car park in town for free (for the first 30 minutes) on two separate occasions in any given day as long as there is a substantial amount of time in between i.e.- drop off and pick up times (These arrangements do not apply to parents who have a blue disability badge). Please note that Balls Park is not a suitable alternative as this is private property.
Drivers cannot come on site between 8.10am to 3.45pm
Parents may use the visitors car park to collect or drop off students at non-peak times eg for medical/ dental appointments, however space will be severely limited during construction of the sports hall.
